Verses: The verses are compiled from Swami's discourses: at the beginning of each discourse, Swami sing a verse that is an indication to the content of his message that day. The Italian musicians, Gabriele & Gianluca Ducros, have done a wonderful and beautiful job editing these verses and adding background music to them.

Gayatri Mantra: The benefits if the Gayatri Mantra is immense. This mantra was composed by Sage Viswamitra 12,000 years ago. The mantra is attributed to the sun and solar power. To have an idea how powerful the Gayatri is, we can be reminded of a story from the scriptures that describe how Viswamitra created a duplicate universe for his devotee simply from the powers of the Gayatri...
The Gayatri Mantra honors and evokes the subtle powers of the Sun. If repeated silently in the mind with deep concentration every day it purifies the mind to be subtle, more intelligent and potent, spiritually perceptive, building up protective and divine energy in the body and purifying the senses. The Gayatri makes us filled with divine energy. Playing the Gayatri in the home pronounced by a Mahatma (if possible avoid the commercial Gayatri pronounced by singers and moviestars) our house becomes filled with divine light. If played in appropriate times of 6 am, 12 noon, 3 pm and even 6 pm it harmonizes with the energy of the sun and becomes more potent. The Gayatri is known to be one of the most powerful mantras of ancient vedic times. The Manthra should be chanted in sequences of 3, 6 or 12 x three times a day (6 am, 12 pm, 3 pm) or more. The number is important as it refer to a secret number attributed to the sun. It is important to have proper pronounciation and speed when chanted - learn from Swami's pronounciation on the audio file. The power of the manthra increases if chanted with intense concentration minimum 108 times a day on fixed timings, all year around without interruption in schedule. If the mantra is interrupted The Gayatri is not a toy and should not be treated lightly. Treat it with sincerity and great reverence.

Bhajans: All bhajans can be downloaded in MP3 format, unless otherwise mentioned. If you seldom have the chance to travel to India to see Swami, the Mandir bhajans are excellent to download and are actual recordings from darshan.
