Donations and Aid

We receive many questions from people wanting to donate to Swami's projects. Please note that Saionline does not collect donations on behalf of the Sai Ahsram or any Sai Center.

As it can be difficult to process donations to India, please contact the contacts below for donation information. The Bank of America account (below) was establish by the Sathya Sai Society of America (SSSA) to bring aid to Tsunami victims. Please write to the Sathya Sai Society or the Sathya Sai Books and Publications Trust (SSSBPT), Tustin, CA for other donation inquiries.
Please note that the ashram or ruling Sai Organization have no third party affiliations soliciting donations. Donations are adviced to be submitted straight to the ashram or the SSSA or the SSSBPT. Donations outside of India can be submitted to these two centers.

	Online Donations	Individuals can submit fast and easy donations through their online banking services.
	Instructions	Login to your online banking service
		Go to your 'Bill pay' section.
		Add the banking details of the relief fund in the 'Add new payee' section.
		From then on you can submit an online donation fast and easy by a regular bill-pay payment, or schedule regular monthly donations.

	Current work in progress Tsunami
	- In India: The Sri Sathya Sai International Medical Committee of the Prasanthi Council, is undertaking assistance in stricken areas within India. - In Indonesia: Physicians and Sai workers have gone to three stricken sites, including Banda Aceh. These devotees are distributing food, water, clothes, medicines, and other needed materials to the victims of the disaster. - In Sri Lanka: Dr. Brahma Sharma, President of the USA Sai Medical Committee, is leading a task force of Sai devotee physicians and Sai workers who will arrive in Sri Lanka by January 9. - In Thailand: Sai devotees from the Sai Institute and the Sai Organization of Thailand have gone to Phuket to give assistance to the victims of the disaster. - Medical Camps: A team of medical personnel and volunteers from Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia will establish medical and rehabilitation camps - Read More about recent Tsunami Relief efforts conducted in India: see link

SENDING GOODS AND SERVICES
For all who might be ready to send food, clothing, medicines, and other required materials, especially those who have the ability to transport useful goods, please contact Vijay Desai at email: vijaydesai918@aol.com .

Please do not send commodities!
At present, the cost in time and money to transport goods and materials is not conducive for sending materials or goods. The primary need at this time is funding. All aid will extend direct to the stricken areas through local channels. The Prasanthi Council will be monitoring all developments and all activities of the Sai Workers in the stricken areas.

VOLUNTEERS WITH SPECIAL SKILLS

For all people who have special and required skills such as physicians, nurses, and others, please contact Dr. Narendra Reddy at nreddysai@yahoo.com .
When it becomes appropriate, teams will be dispatched to render service.
